About Rachel Johnstone
Based in Chicago, Rachel Johnstone is a professional flutist who has dedicated her life’s works to music and performance. Perfecting her technical abilities and unique sound over the years, Rachel Johnstone has mastered both orchestral and solo performance, while captivating the hearts of fans and audience members across the nation. Starting the violin at 3 years old, Rachel has drawn on her experience as a violin player to develop her unique understanding of the orchestral environment. She has had the privilege of performing at the Aspen Summer Music Festival and School, Chautauqua Institution and in Severance Hall as a concerto soloist.
